Nutrabolt is one of the leading independent sports nutrition companies in the world. The Company sells its products in well-trafficked retailers such as The Vitamin Shoppe, Walmart, and GNC as well as online at Amazon and several fitness focused ecommerce sites.
The Challenge
Promotional displays too often go to waste, and with it, so does the potential sales lift. According to a recent A.R.E | POPAI industry study, more than half of planned displays are not executed at all. The same study showed that during promotions, stores with displays executed correctly saw a 193% incremental sales lift.
Nutrabolt wanted to get real-time, auditable verification that their in-store displays were received, properly setup, and merchandised per their design, expectations, and contractual agreement with GNC stores across the US.
POPTrak makes it easy to track the full lifecycle of displays at individual store levels, and the platform gives its sponsors real-time visibility into compliance and performance on the floor.
The Result
Results were immediate. The program with Nutrabolt in GNC stores tracked the installation of signage at 2,550 U.S. store locations over the course of about 4 weeks. GNC personnel were responsible for unboxing the display which included in-packaging instructions directing the installer to activate the display initiated using SMS short code messaging. The steps involved reporting damages or missing parts (if any) and uploading a photo. All collected activation data was validated via location services per store.
Validation took no longer than 1 min to complete from start to finish, with successful results.
